In a surprising turn of events Sen Rick Santorum pulled out of the GOP race yesterday. Putting the country and his desire to replace Mr. President ahead of personal ambition; Santorum opted to leave the race under pressure of possibly losing his home state of Pennsylvania to Romney. Romney now needs only around 500 delegates to win the nomination; and will, barring any unforeseen accidents, become the GOP nominee. But the question remains,can Romney erase his etch-a-sketch image enough to defeat Obama in a general election?
