Hey everyone, well, I have a zillion pictures and lots of cool videos and and and to show you all, but sadly, we have tooooooooooons of snow!!! Which is great, except the internet is not working, sooo I am taking a short unexpected break, and I will get back to you all as soon as I can!!! Keep warm and talk to you soon))

Wicked Wednesday -04

Ok, so this Wicked Wednesday (or a Mainer's Midweek) is going to be a little cliche, but it is going to be the Wickedest Pictures from this Past week!!  With the constant snowing and everything I got a lot of good shots, but sadly my camera is acting up, so many of these are from my phone, enjoy!! Snow

Ok ok, so I promised pictures or video of the snow and winter here last week, but that was just our first snow (amazingly!!!) aaaaaand its boring now because it was just like 3 centimeters!!! Lol Now, we have real snow, about 50 centimeters, (twenty inches or something like that). So I'll give you some stuff from today. Here are a few videos of our winter wonderland!! And no, Ukraine is not Siberia, that was a joke!

I got this shot of the town hall in fog a few weeks ago, during our anual November fog-fest! lol It seems like everyday iin November is super foggy every year. I love it though..

Wicked Wednesday 03

Yep, its Wicked Wednesday again, Ok so I am a 'Maina'! Annnd here we go~
 
   Mhmm, this week is about the coolest bridges out there! So yeah, there are a million types of bridges, and obviously they are one of human kind's oldest architectural triumphs; but today I am not (ok so yes I am too busy and left this post till last minute!) going to get into all of that. Just gonna comment on a few of the wickedest and 'awesom-est' bridges))

  First, -I know I know its boring!- but first I have to put the Akashi Kaikyo bridge up here, for the obvious reason that it has the longest central span of any bridge in the world! In total it has a central span of 1,991 meters! Wow. The cool thing about this bridge is the modern pendulum system which uses the resonance frequency of the bridge to work as a shock absorber.

    Completed in 1773, the Pultney Bridge of Bath, England is the coolest! Only four bridges in the world have shops that go full length on both sides, and this is one of them! Plus I just loooooove eighteenth century arcitecture.

  I imagine that most of you already know the Puente del Alamillo Bridge in Seville, Spain. But hey, its pretty great! Especially at night.


  And that's it for this Wednesday, again I think I am going to have to do a sequel to this post, because I soooo love bridges and there are so many amazing ones out there that I think somebody could just start a blog about bridges and have their life work cut out for them. Totally Wicked Wednesday 02

So, for the second installment of Totally Wicked Wednesday, yeah I know this is hockey, but... per-request this TWW will be about the coolest cartoon characters!! Lol    Enjoy!!

  Well, we have to start with the good guys. Actually, this week everyone that I picked is a good guy, but maybe another time I'll do a post on bad dudes and dudets! Keep in mind this is a super short post, really! Obviously, there are tons of other cool characters out there, but I cant post about everyone, aaaaand if you really want somebody specific to make the list next time, tell me!

 So, first off for those of you who dont know him...um, yeah, Cyclops from X-men Evolution!! Normally known as Scott Summers. Extremely smart, loyal, good looking, and the first x-man, Scott has powerful fusion beams come out of his eyes if he is not wearing his glasses. So far, he has not fully mastered his powers.

 
  Toothless, the one and only night fury dragon of icy Burk! Starring in How to Train Your Dragon by Dream  Works studios, this high strung yet friendly dragon is the personal 'wings' of main character Hiccup. Toothless is smart and loving, but don't be caught without fish or while wearing weapons while in his presence or you might end up on your back with a singed head!!

   No, he cant talk, but this beloved chameleon from the Disney classic Tangled doesn't see the need to. Pascal can communicate anything he wants to through body language, great facial expression, and adorable grunts! He does not like to be cooped up, but as long as he is, entertaining himself with a game of hide and seek is not a bad consolation. Unless you are with the girl with the frying pan, watch out for this little tiger.

     Yep, best for last-sorry all other animated characters, but this guy is unbeatable! Ok, honesty for a sec. this guy is my role model! Seriously! Tigger, is super positive, a wonderful (um should I say human being! lol), athletic, and just an all around superman. There is only one, so you never confuse this spunky friend for someone else. Ever ready to help out a friend in need, all while bouncing and often singing, I so wish I could be like Tigger...

Dad and JJ carved a pumpkin that they were "supposed" lol to be getting ready fo use for pumpkin pie! 

So, I said a while back that I was going to start a series on "Coolest's" but I decided to rename it Wicked Wednesday. Ok ok So yeah, I still have a Maine accent!!! Sorrry!! lol I cant help it!! And, sorry I did not post yesterday, buuuuuuut I had a good excuse!!! To jump start Wicked Wednesday I did a pretty cool project, and here it is!! One of the cooolest activities on the planet!! lol

Ok, so it's Monday and that means picture of the week, well normally!! I am actually amazingly, getting back into my schedule of blogging. And, I know this is not a super amazing picture or anything, but one of my friends sent it to me recently to describe how they felt. I cried for like an hour...!!

Travel Ling

I always thought that would be a cool, all be it hokey, name for a Vietnamese airline! Anyway.. here is yesterday in a nutshell.

    Arrived at bus stop in Karlovka 8:17
    Got a ride to Poltava
    Got a bus in Poltava to another stop
    Took a taxi to train station, arrived at 11:50 (I took a bus from the train station)
    Sat in my reserved seat and rode the bus to Kiev
    Arrived at Kiev train station approx. 5:30 PM
    My train left at 6:42 PM
    Arrived at 8:40 AM next day
    Took bus 34 to stop
    Walked to next stop and took bus 118
    Took a taxi from bus stop
    Arrived home at 10:37 AM
       Summary. 26:20 travel time, 7 transportation devices, approx. 700 kilometers, lots of fun!! 

Weeeeeeell, I was stupid, amazing right?!! Lol I have several micro SD cards that I use interchangeably. And, I didnt bring my camera on this trip, just my phone. Well, I lost the micro that all my pictures and video were on!!!! Yeah, the only thing I lost on this trip, I left it in my bed on the train, but I am still hoping to get it back. So, no pics at the moment, but I am being sent some. 

Hey, I am travelling again, which = less blogging. But until I see you again!... have a fun hike!!
