Sorry

Dear blog readers, On August 19th I wrote a blog post entitled "The pain, the beauty, and the bloody" against runners vs. joggers. I am sorry. It was written in a prideful and put down manner and was completely unnecessary. I appologize for the arrogant words and stuck up attitude that I had. I am sorry for hurting anyone's feelings by being arrogant. Its is great that anyone will get out and move these days. Sincerely Sorry running4him

More of Omu

At the summit, nice weather, but to hot. I mean it wasn't hot, just I like winter climbing so it was comparatively hot. Sweet climb. My voice sounds crazy, I hate it!!! I guess everyone's voice sounds different to themselves on recording as apposed to real life. Caaatch ya latte.

Tampa Again!!!

Haha, so last Saturday I ran up and down the Brasov mountain just to get in a little training, aaaannnndd as most of you know I turned my right leg into an Italian sausage!!! LOL So, I ran it again yesterday and beat my time up by over 2 minutes and beat my time down by alot too. I normally recover fast, but my muscle regeneration is not as fast as I would like, so because of two major climbs this week my body was a little depressed and my time was not as fast as I wanted. Anyway, no injuries this time. Live for the King!!! Crazy picture of me huh, its me at the top of Tampa; sweating like crazy??!!! haha I look like a nut!!!

Omu!!!

Not the mountain just a lower peak that we didnt hit because it is like only 6000 feet.

Approach

The "Colts" at least that's what they are called in Romanian, it means fangs.

Dad climbing.

Getting colder!!!

Dad going off the edge of the world on descent.

Me on the way down.
Hi Everyone, I am finally back, been in transit for a while. So, about climbing well if you want to see a write-up and pictures on the mountain go to http://www.summitpost.org/omu/154030 It was a good climb, about 13 hours. We hit 6 peaks. Omu is 2507 meters tall. I dont really have time to give you a whole route update, but I might do it later on. Anyway, these are only pictures and videos from my phone, I'll upload shots from my camera later.

One Day

Just about my favorite car. Totally SICK!!!!!!!!!!!! haha Maybe one day, HA. Hey, miracles happen!!! =) engine  a twin-turbocharged 7.0-liter V-8 which puts out 1,350 horsepower linked with a seven-speed manual gearbox.

I ran alot of this climb, the approach anyway.

I didnt have a heavy pask and here it is climbing even though it looks down or even, funny how the camera changes things. It made the climb alot faster though cause I ended up running more than hiking!!!

Climbing Today B

Kronosaurus

Hi Everyone, I am in a science mood. so, I thought I would to a post on...

http://zeceintop.ro/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Kronosaurus.jpg

Kronosaurus (pronounced /ˌkrɒnoʊˈsɔrəs/ kron-o-sawr-əs, meaning "lizard of Kronos") is an extinct genus of short-necked pliosaur. It was among the largest pliosaurs, and is appropriately named after the leader of the Greek Titians, Cronus.

K. queenslandicus at Harvard University which may have been reconstructed with too many vertebrae, and may therefore be too long
K. queenslandicus scale diagram, showing the size of the restored Harvard skeleton along with a more accurate estimate

Life

Kronosaurus lived in the pre-flood and possibly post-flood world. K-saurus may have be come extinct because of post-flood changing oxygen levels, or changing ocean temperatures after a large ice caps developed at the poles following and during the Ice Age.

The holotype specimen of the species K. queenslandicus was described by Longman in 1924, and is currently in the Queensland Museum.[1] Hampe described a second species, K. boyacensis, in 1992 from Colombia.[2]

Size issues

Body-length estimates had previously put the total length of Kronosaurus at 12.8 meters (43 feet).[4] However, a recent study comparing fossil specimens of Kronosaurus to other pliosaurs suggests that the previous estimate was an exaggeration, with the true length probably being only 9–10 meters (30–33 feet).[3]

Teeth

The teeth of Kronosaurus are large in length (exceeding 7 cm - the largest up to 30 cm long with 12 cm crowns). However, they lack carinae (cutting edges) and the distinct trihedral (three facets) of Pliosaurus and Liopleurodon teeth. The combination of large size, conical shape and lack of cutting edges allows for easy identification of Kronosaurus teeth in Cretaceous deposits from Australia.[3][5]

Diet

K. queenslandicus

Large, round bite-marks have been found on the skull of an Australian elasmosaurid (Eromangasaurus) that could be from a Kronosaurus attack. Some believe Kronosaurus to have had venom pods or possibly gas chambers in its head.

Biblical

Some creationsists believe that this could be the Leviathan described in the book of Job.
